What is Lockout Tagout?
Lockout tagout (LOTO) procedure placards are a visual system that helps industries ensure dangerous machines are powered off and safely restored during maintenance or repair. This system guides workers through clear, sequential steps that prevent accidental energy release.

Lockout Icons/Lockout Tags
ECPL’s lockout icons and tags work for any equipment across all industries. Workers place or hang these tags directly on or near the machine to identify each energy source. You can choose adhesive backed tags or hole punched versions for easy application.
Although the standard size is 4” x 4”, we customize dimensions to fit your needs. Because we guarantee them for the life of your machine, these icons offer one of the most reliable ways to visually identify every energy source.
Graphic and Procedure Placards
Graphic and procedure access placards give workers a clear overview of where energy sources are located on a machine. When paired with lockout icons or tags, these placards explain how to safely lock out each source and restore normal operations.
