What is Lockstep?
Lockstep is a software developed by ECPL that simplifies equipment management, reporting, and analysis. This allows you to focus on what is important while automating the processes.
Equipment Management
The Equipment Management page is the central dashboard for viewing and managing all machines across your facilities. It provides search, filtering by department/factory/audit status, and sorting tools to quickly locate equipment. Each machine displays its current status (Operational, Maintenance, Out of Service) with click-through access to full details.
Generating Machine Lists
The machine list generator exports a formatted PDF document of your equipment inventory for a selected facility. Users can filter by department and the output includes machine names sorted alphabetically with professional branding. A downloadable file is named automatically based on the factory, and date.
Machine Overview
The machine overview page provides a deep-dive into a single piece of equipment, showing its metadata, full audit history, and associated documents. The audit history table details findings, compliance status, auditor, and timestamps for every past inspection. Facility managers can also submit change requests directly from this page to update machine information.
Creating Audits
The audit creation flow is a multi-step wizard for scheduling LOTO compliance audits against one or more machines. Users select machines, assign auditors, set a date/time, and specify required certifications before reviewing and confirming. The resulting audit appears on the scheduling calendar and can be rescheduled via drag-and-drop.
Generating Reports
The report generator creates PDF summaries of LOTO audit results for a specific factory, filtered by date range, compliance status, and placard type, with a real-time preview of record counts and compliance rates before downloading. For a more comprehensive output, multiple completed audit groups can be combined into a single final report with optional company-wide and per-group breakdowns, suitable for executive review and compliance documentation. Both report types are named automatically by date, customer, and factory, and final reports are saved to storage for future access.
